Talks that change lives

“The how, why and wonder of spiritual healing” with Beth Packer, CS

Find out how and why spiritual healing is such a powerful force for good. Beth shares how her father was healed through prayer of a diagnosed fatal illness that left him close to death. This talk explores the phenomena of spiritual healing as recorded throughout the Bible — healing that for centuries has allowed people to live their lives with dominion and not be victims to their circumstances. Hear present-day examples, showing that such healing is not something of the past, but is a present possibility — an accessible transforming power for good in our lives today. Examples include protection from an attack, healing of a medically diagnosed ‘incurable’ illness, and effects of contagion.

“Mary Baker Eddy, 19th Century discoverer and her great discovery” with Michelle Nanouche, CSB

March celebrates Women’s History Month. It also marks the bicentennial of the birth of Mary Baker Eddy, a widely recognized religious leader, author and healer. Through prayer and deep study of the Bible, she discovered that spiritual healing is based on the divine laws of God, Spirit, which she subsequently named Christian Science.

In her presentation, followed by open Q&A, Michelle discusses some essentials of Christian Science healing and its broader contribution to solving individual and societal problems today.
